When buying artwork on the exhibit you will notice you are charged in New Zealand Dollars (NZD), this is because our third-party payment processing provider Stripe.com currently only supports transactions in NZD for New Zealand based companies using their Stripe Connect product. This is the product required for us to deliver complex payment processing, payouts and split payouts to our exhibitors and customers across multiple countries.
As soon as Stripe.com allows New Zealand companies to transact in more currencies other than just NZD with their Stripe Connect infrastructure, you will be able to transact in currencies local to you such as USD, AUD, Euros or British Pounds.
In the meantime, please proceed with your artwork purchases in New Zealand dollars.
